The secluded location, set apart from the nearest town

Many of our guests choose to stay with us precisely because of our peaceful, secluded location, where they can enjoy complete tranquility and privacy at the Lodge. Schneverdingen is a 6-minute drive or 5 kilometers away from Reinsehlen. If you are arriving by train, we are happy to arrange a taxi for you from Schneverdingen station to the camp.

Almost all rooms feature views of the dry grassland meadow - only a select few do not.

Of our 91 rooms, 81 offer views of the dry grassland meadow, while ten do not. If this view is important to you, please let us know when booking. Our NatureView Lodge Rooms and MoreView Rooms all feature views of the dry grassland meadow and the far-reaching horizon.

The paths between the individual buildings

Some find it inconvenient, while others see these short walks as a welcome opportunity to get moving, enjoy fresh air, and connect with others. You can find the locations of the individual buildings on the Lodge map.

Rooms without minibar or air conditioning

Minibars and air conditioning consume significant amounts of energy, so we have consciously chosen to do without them. We are happy to provide cooler boxes to keep your drinks chilled. Large patio doors allow for quick ventilation, and in peak summer, we recommend keeping the curtains drawn while away.

The boardwalks alongside the Lodge rooms

The Lodge rooms are accessed via wooden boardwalks. Built from sustainable local materials, they give the rooms their signature lodge character. However, these wooden planks do transmit sound—from high heels or rolling suitcases, for example. Your neighbors will appreciate your consideration, especially during an early morning departure.

Wellness, yes—spa, not so much

You will find plenty of wellness moments throughout the camp: daydreaming for a few hours in a hammock, taking an evening stroll through nature, watching the sunset, treating yourself to a yoga session, or unwinding by the fireplace. For relaxation and well-being, we also offer a Finnish sauna and a steam bath. Please note that there is no hot tub or swimming pool at the camp.
