We want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Please inform us in advance of any food intolerances or allergies so that we can accommodate your needs accordingly.

The Lodge is situated in the heart of unspoiled nature. From May to October, the breeding and birthing season takes place here. Many birds are currently nesting on the nutrient-poor grassland area surrounding Lodge Reinsehlen. To avoid disturbing them, this area must not be entered. Dogs must be kept on a leash across the entire property year-round.

A good book is an essential part of a relaxing time. You will find a small selection of literature available in the hotel lobby.

For an excursion into the surrounding area, we offer touring bikes and e-bikes. You can rent the bicycles directly at the lobby. Advance reservation is required.

A map of the immediate area is included in your room flyer. Cycling and hiking maps are available for purchase at the lobby.

Take a piece of Lodge Reinsehlen home with you, as a keepsake for yourself or as a gift for your family. Selected items are available at our reception desk.

By arrangement with you, we forgo interim room cleaning for ecological reasons. If you change your mind later and would still like intermediate room cleaning, simply let us know. You can request additional consumable supplies at any time.

Our hotel lobby offers a pleasant place to relax throughout the day. Seating with direct views of nature invites you to linger, or you can enjoy a cozy evening by the crackling fireplace. The bar provides you with refreshing drinks.

Four-legged friends are warmly welcome here. They are permitted to stay overnight in nearly all Lodge rooms. Please register your dog prior to arrival. If your dog is not registered in advance, an additional cleaning surcharge of €50.00 will be charged.

We are a nature hotel committed to sustainability. For this reason, we have chosen not to install refrigerators in our rooms. Should you require cooling, pre-filled or empty cool boxes are available for rent upon request.

You will find a charging station with two charging points located directly in front of the “Weiße Halle” (White Hall). Activation cards are available at reception for a service fee.

Fancy an atmospheric evening by a crackling campfire? Book your exclusive campfire experience. We are also happy to prepare everything for the popular tradition of baking stick bread over the fire. For smaller groups, we offer a fire basket for a cozy gathering.

Do you need provisions for your bike tour or hike? Our kitchen will be happy to put together a packed lunch or a picnic basket for you.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our rooms as well as in all public buildings throughout the camp. Please understand that in the event of non-compliance, we will be forced to impose a fine of €450.00.

Several Nordic walking trails run directly around our grounds. Walking poles are available at reception. We have prepared three routes of varying lengths for you on the Komoot app, measuring approximately 3.4 km, 5.8 km, and 10 km. The trails start right in front of the hotel lobby. You can also reserve a table tennis table complete with paddles and balls, or rent a Speedminton set for your active enjoyment.

Our restaurant GASTHAUS looks forward to welcoming you for lunch or dinner. For better coordination, we kindly ask that you make a reservation in advance.

We are happy to order a taxi for you. We have negotiated fixed rates with a local taxi company for trips to Schneverdingen train station as well as to Hamburg and Hanover airports. For rides to or from the airport, please make your reservation the day before. Alternatively, you can book your taxi directly with Blitz-Taxi Schneverdingen at Tel. +49 5193 9722000 and mention our hotel.

In our menu, you will always find a selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. A vegetarian main course is also included in our 3-course menus/buffets for package arrangements or half board. We are also happy to provide coffee break snacks and packed lunches with vegetarian and/or vegan options upon request.

We are happy to call you at your desired time to wake you up. Simply request your wake-up call at reception.

The sauna area is located near the Lodge rooms. Use of the sauna requires prior registration via reception. Opening hours are from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. A maximum of six people may be in the sauna area at the same time. To allow as many guests as possible to enjoy the facility, we have established 120-minute time slots per use. Towels, bathrobes, and sauna slippers are provided on site. (The use of the sauna and steam bath is already included in all our packages.)

Almost all rooms offer a view of the nutrient-poor grassland (Magerrasen) – only a few do not. Out of our 91 rooms, 81 feature views facing the grassland, while ten rooms do not. If this view is important to you, please let us know at the time of booking. Alternatively, you can book an upgrade directly to our Lodge Rooms with NaturBlick or our MehrBlick Rooms, all of which guarantee views of the grassland and the expansive horizon.
