Teambuilding Sheep Herding

Experience nature, feel leadership, grow as a team. Teams from Airbus to dental practices have done it. From board members to apprentices, employees have guided the flock of up to 1,000 sheep. Take on the challenge: How do we move the flock together? How do we keep them together when chaos temporarily breaks out? "Brilliant", "wonderful", "finally something new", "a study in leadership"... are frequent comments from teams.

The flock gives nothing away. Wherever teamwork stumbles or leadership falters, the animals break out. The sheep react instantly and honestly. The team learns quickly. Repeating mistakes takes energy. After each stage, there is a feedback round. You grow together and start pulling in the same direction. The flock of sheep becomes your master instructor for communication, cooperation, and leadership.

Event Details

Duration: 3 to 4 hours.
Ideal group size: 5–25 people.
Maximum group size: 50 people.
Requirements: long trousers, sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing in natural colors.

Team Retreat with Donkeys at Donkey Oaks

Step out of the meeting room and into a shared experience. During the team retreat at Donkey Oaks, teams spend 4 hours with donkeys—relaxed, connecting, and without a formal seminar setting. Hands-on activities with the animals, time to talk, and experiencing the moment together take center stage. Groups are guided by Steffi & Tim Buchholz, experts in animal-assisted work with teams and leaders, as well as strategic organizational development. Interacting with donkeys naturally creates valuable insights into how we impact one another—both the animals and each other within the team.

In addition to the Activity Boxes in the foyer, we have put together three additional boxes.

BOX 1: Cooperation game – Tower building – Successful communication.
Contents: 100 building blocks.
BOX 2: Feeling and describing shapes – Finding team members.
Contents: 20 copper fittings, including 4 x 4 matching shapes and 2 x 2 matching shapes, blindfolds.
BOX 3: Pipeline – Strong as a team.
Contents: 2 balls, 10 plastic pipes, 2 buckets.

"Curtain up" with the Scharlatan Theater for Change

The structure is simple: It begins with the topic and visions. After the content phase comes the creative phase: your team develops a plot for a scene based on it. The newly formed ensemble must now bring it to life—assigning roles and rehearsing. Our professionals guide you through the process, ensuring suspense, smooth interplay, and clear messaging. The grand finale is the performance: colleagues performing for colleagues. Applause for successful teamwork!

Raised bog restoration Together for climate protection

Under the guidance of the Verein Naturschutzpark Lüneburger Heide e. V. (Lüneburg Heath Nature Park Association), you will help restore the Pietzmoor in Schneverdingen as a raised bog. Participants roll up their sleeves to close drainage ditches, clear scrub from the edges of the bog, and carry out similar tasks that help the bog regenerate.

The goal of restoring raised bogs is multifaceted and crucial, as it involves improving the $CO_2$ balance, preserving endangered species of flora and fauna, reducing global warming, and using the bog as a water reservoir during heavy rainfall.

Event Details

Möglicher Zeitraum: Mitte Juli bis Ende Februar.

Possible timeframe: mid-July to end of February.
Group size: 10 to 40 people, larger groups by arrangement.
Duration: 3–4 hours.
Transfer: Short distance, approx. 10 km.
What to bring: Weatherproof work clothes that can get dirty, rubber boots, and work gloves.

Planting Trees Stronger Together for Climate Protection

Together with the Verein Naturschutzpark Lüneburger Heide e.V., your participants will experience a unique sustainable team event. Together, they will plant trees to enhance the resilience of our forests by introducing tree species not currently present.

For this purpose, native deciduous trees are primarily planted—predominantly the sessile oak, which is particularly suited to the selected locations. This tree species is currently considered scientifically to have the highest climate stability.
